CLEAR BEFORE YOU PARK
Using UKParky
Read how parking confirmation, payments, scheduling and refunds work before using UKParky.
Your parking details
You must check the location code, vehicle registration, permitted parking duration and local restrictions before confirming. The signs and the parking operator determine where and when you may park.
Prices and payments
The review screen shows the parking amount, the UKParky service fee and the total in pounds sterling. Quotes expire. The server checks the authorised amount and does not silently accept a higher parking price. A pending card authorisation is not confirmation that parking has started.
Confirmation and uncertainty
Parking starts only when the provider returns a valid confirmed session. If the result is uncertain, the operation is held for reconciliation. Do not rely on a scheduled plan, countdown alone or payment screen as proof of parking permission.
Scheduled parking and extensions
A future parking plan can fail if the location, payment method, price or provider changes. Extensions depend on provider support and local restrictions. Automatic extensions require explicit consent and are limited by the chosen spending, duration and stop-time limits.
Refunds and receipts
Refunds are reconciled against the actual payment and provider outcome. A confirmed parking purchase may be subject to the operator’s rules. The application transaction summary is not presented as an operator tax invoice.
